Photech Photography needed a site that sells the work before a word is read. The build leads with a full-bleed cinematic hero slideshow across genres (portrait, food, events), drops into curated collection galleries, and funnels to a booking flow — all on Next.js with AVIF-optimised imagery so heavy photography still loads fast on mobile.

Let the photographs be the interface
Chrome is minimal and dark; the hero rotates full-bleed frames so the first impression is the portfolio itself, not a template.
AVIF-first image pipeline
Every gallery asset is served as AVIF with responsive sizes, cutting page weight roughly in half versus JPEG without visible loss on retina.
